Sensory Resources
Did you know the average sensory room can cost up to $30,000?
At The Perception Foundation, we’ve created the first cost-effective sensory room model—offering the same impact at just 5% of the cost. That’s a 95% savings, making sensory inclusion possible for schools, clinics, community centers, and families.
Our rooms have been implemented in pediatric clinics, schools, hospitals, refugee centers, museums, and other public spaces—proving inclusion can be both impactful and affordable. We’d love to help you build one today!
Sensory Kit vs. Sensory Room?
A Sensory Kit is designed for spaces that already have an established room but need additional furnishings and tools to maximize its impact. Using The Perception Foundation’s zoned model, the kit enhances the room’s effectiveness, creating a more structured, engaging, and therapeutic environment for users.
A Sensory Room, on the other hand, is for spaces that have identified a room for sensory use but have not yet equipped it. Our approach transforms an empty room into a fully functional sensory environment, carefully curated to support neurodiverse individuals and address a range of sensory needs.
