Uniting Through Sports: Blue Out Games for Neurodiversity Awareness

Sports have always had the power to bring communities together. Whether cheering from the stands or playing on the field, games create a shared energy that unites people across differences. At The Perception Foundation, we believe that same spirit of unity can be harnessed to promote awareness, inclusion, and action.

That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our Blue Out Field Hockey Games—a new initiative to raise awareness around neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) in a fun, casual, and community-centered setting.

At these games, players and fans will come together in blue to show support for neurodiversity. Beyond the action on the field, the events will serve as fundraisers, with proceeds going directly toward building more public sensory rooms—spaces where anyone can find calm, regulation, and belonging.

By pairing the joy of sports with the mission of accessibility, Blue Out Games turn community spirit into real impact. Together, we can make inclusivity not just something we talk about, but something we build—one game, one room, one community at a time.
